Sure, the two songs I’ve recorded so far under the pseudonym “Memory’s Cadence” (FB) aren’t really what one would call ‘beautiful’ (even the term ‘music’ isn’t really all that applicable), but they are under the ‘art’ form of music–instruments, combined with the spoken (sang) word, yada yada yada.

A lot going on. Don’t really know what to think or how to react. Spent a couple hours at Mom’s grave earlier… I just sat out there and actually wrote a little in my journal. The following is something I wrote and I actually think it deserves to be posted to the world:

“Salt. Weird stuff. I just find it extremely ironic that people use it to make their food ‘taste better.’ But when you’re crying–taste your tears. Salt. NOT a coincidence. I just wish I knew the significance.”

It was just a thought that crossed my mind as some of my own tears drained down my face and onto my lips. As a realist, one would just say “It’s just tears! They’re made of mucus, water, and oil! Of COURSE they’re going to be salty!” But as an idealist, I’m not really sure what to think. Maybe… we use salt to make our food ‘better,’ and we also use tears to make US feel better? Any suggestions?

I could explain the extent of what’s happened since my last post, but I will not. (via; if you’re reading this, you probably know me–therefore, you know what’s been going on). So I will save myself the pain, and you the boredom, and skip to now.

I am back to blogging. Or chatting with myself as I like to call it. I would place high bets to guess that nobody even reads this crap. Stand, run, fart, underwear, microphone, cheese, cracker, boss! Just a random string of tourettes there. My bad.

Expect more.

And more frequently.

I don’t really feel like going into detail on any of these, but I would like to say…. =D.

This is amazing. Hopefully one of these days I can get Flash to work on my computer and I might be able to do stuff like this.. I could probably do it now but it’s take 10 times as long with Windows Movie Maker. But I really love this. 10/10

I picked her up today at the Guitar Center in Fayettville. It’s an Epiphone Les Paul Classic.. It’s an ’04 model, but it plays great and I’m already in love with her. I’m only pondering what to name her……. any suggestions?

He’s pretty much my new best friend! Haha.. Last night we played hide and go seek in his neighborhood with his little sister, Sara, and his other friend, Eric. It was a lot of fun. I don’t even want to explain the title of this post–I’m sure you probably get it.

I’ve been working a lot, and playing a lot. Haha.. I just picked up a copy of Message In A Bottle and Dear John by Nicholas Sparks and a copy of The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I haven’t started reading them yet because I’m working at an extremely slow pace through The Knight Of Maison-Rouge by Alexandre Dumas.

Just a little cup of what I’ve been up to lately.
